Hello blog readers! If there are any… which I have no idea. You all can send me questions on here, by the way, even if you do not have a tumblr. I can answer them on my blog when possible. I probably cannot post any pictures for a while, but I can tell you about South Africa! I have been here since Thursday morning and I leave tomorrow. Sad, but I am ready to figure this internship thing out. My first meal here was McDonalds, go figure. It tasted the same as everywhere else only there was a beautiful mountain in the background. That definitely makes the eating experience better. I went to a Cape Town museum on Friday and today I went to the Botanical Garden which was BEAUTIFUL. They have a whole collection of plants pre-dinosaurs which were something around 240 million years old. Or maybe 270. Anyway it was incredible. We even saw some owls. It was a great tour and I really enjoyed myself. Sadly I have to pack up and leave already, it seems too soon. I will definitely have to come back one day to explore more. The city is a bit overwhelming, though. I am already tired. I somehow made it through without sleeping too much in weird hours, despite jet lag. Nothing much else to report, off to Botswana tomorrow!

so long stays in airports = boring. I can never find the @ key so logging into my email takes too long. someone with really cool dreadlocks just walked by me. I am almost about to find out where to go for the gate (after having been here SEVEN HOURS) and then I spend 11 on a plane. I really hope I can sleep because I do not feel tired now and I really need rest. taking pictures and hope to be able to post them when I get to Botswana next week. I just want to be done with travel. 74 days until I come home.

anxious and ready to leave, but want to stay in this happy part of my life forever. maybe I can have both? I do have both. I am going to make this the best journey possible, and I am going to come back to my wonderful life that I love.
